There are/were some instances of users creating names like "Steph Joseph " (notice trailing whitespace) or "Aurélie". Perhaps names used for logins should be reduced to ASCII, lowercase only, trimmed, spaces replaced with underscores, accents removed, etc. The actual names provided could be used as display names
